Alegre hydropower plant

Alegre hydropower plant is located on the Alegre river in the state of Espírito Santo.

The power plant has a total head of 75.9m and the powerhouse is equipped with one Francis turbine, which receives water from a 274m long penstock which is 1m in diameter. The dam a is 1.7m high concrete gravity dam.
